5-Flat Vehicle End, 72" Wiring Harness #002309

The 5 way flat trailer connector is most commonly found on boat trailers that have hydraulic surge brakes. The fifth wire (usually blue) is hooked up to the reverse light circuit on the vehicle which then sends a signal to the reversing solenoid  to disengage the trailer brakes
