Balancing Option for Trailer Wheel and Tire Combination Packages

We do not recommend balancing of Trailer Wheels and Tires. However, should you wish to have your assembly balanced, simply add a balance for each trailer wheel and tire assembly you order from us, and we will happily balance each wheel/tire combination at an additional cost. Prior to shipping, we re-check the balance measurements to ensure it is perfectly balanced and then ship it directly to you.

We use premium brand, clamp-on steel wheel weights that conform to each state's unique, vehicle/trailer regulations. In addition, all of the assemblies are static-balanced (when balance is requested) using stick-on wheel weights to prevent corrosion from damaging your aluminum trailer wheel.

Please Note: We cannot balance any package smaller than 13 inches. We do not recommend balancing of Bias Ply Trailer Tires.

Tire and Wheel Balancing

All tires and wheels static balanced as to not have the weights on the outside. This was performed without scratching up the wheels.

Poor Balance Job

Had to have a rebalance of all 4 tires and wheels. I was told that one was off by (if I remember correctly) .4 of an ounce. They were all off, but this was the worst. The only reason it is not one star is they gave a refund with no trouble at all. The wheels and tires themselves are great.

Balance tire and wheel

Great job of balance, used standard clip on weights because I bought steel wheels. One of the main reasons I purchased tires and wheels from Shadow, besides the price, was the fact that they do offer balance, while most other dealers don't.
