UFP A-60 Inner Slide

This part fit perfectly into the existing trailer and was an easy fix to my problem, stopping the "clunking" sound every time started and stopped! I realized after the installation that there was also a leak in my hydraulic line, that I would not have known about without changing the actuator. I would recommend this product to anyone experiencing similar problems.

Easy and quick fix

If you are having a hard "clunk" every time you pull away from a dead stop, this is probably the cause. The unit can be rebuilt, but by the time you buy all of the necessary parts and spend the time, this is a much better option. I replaced mine about 3 weeks ago and it has made a huge difference in towing my boat. Took me about 45 minutes to replace the entire assembly, due to having to solder the wire on the solenoid. Bleeding the brakes after you finish is actually the worst part of the whole deal.

Great Product

Significantly more functional and well designed than the Tie Down actuator it replaced. Everything about it is designed better. I also like that it is made for tandem axle applications and actually retracts the actuator consistently. Solved all my braking problems. The electronic backup solenoid is great too.

A-60 to the rescue!

Replaced worn A-60 on my 2014 RangerTrail boat trailer and bleed the brakes per instructions, works perfectly now!

Replaced Reliable 2003 mastercraft actuator on x30 trailer

Easy to install. Grab a good set or circlip pliers, a bottle of brake fluid and install away. Followed instructions to bleed the MC first then the rest. 4 wheel disc brakes on my trailer and it's worked well for the first few trips I've had since. Support was good when I called to confirm purchase and compatibility prior to purchase. Also purchased the drop in replacement for the swing away tounge which is required to run this inner member. Thanks!

Boat Owner

I have a DHM Tandem trailer (2004) and purchased the A-60. I am very happy that I replaced the whole tongue rather than the master cylinder alone. The newer design is cleaner and has been improved by making the backup solenoid integral. Please note: I had to modify my trailer a bit to make this improvement fit as the backup solenoid is longer than my trailer's original one.
