Shipping policy

Thank you for visiting and shopping at Shadow Trailers (TrailerandTruckParts.com). The following are the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping Policy.

Shipment processing time

Shadow Trailers dispatches orders from Monday—Friday. Most orders are processed and shipped same-day. Orders received and confirmed after 2:00 p.m. PST will be processed the next business day. See section ‘Same Day Shipping’ on this page.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, our order processing time will be within [3] to [5] business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on holidays. During peak seasons, please account for potential delays in transit for delivery. If we foresee significant delays in the shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or phone.

Shipping Delays

Unforeseen shipping delays may occur as a result of product supply chain disruptions, port congestion, natural disasters, dangerous weather conditions, logistical and technological failures, carrier issues, infrastructure failures, peak season bottlenecks, and manufacturer inventory issues. Our team at Shadow Trailers tries its best to fulfill your order as timely as possible, but there are certain events which may occur that are outside of our control and may impact your order delivery date. Shipping delays apply to all shipping offers, sections, and subsections in our Shipping Policy.

Shipping Rate Calculation

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Delivery estimates are calculated starting from the day after your order has shipped. (See section 'Shipping Methods and Delivery Estimates' for more comprehensive information.) This is because carrier pick-up times vary, and your order may be picked up by our carrier later in the afternoon depending on a number of factors.

Free Shipping Promotion

Our Free Shipping over $49 Promotional Offer is available to our customers located within the contiguous United States. (Excl. apply. See subsection ‘Free Shipping Exclusions’)

To be eligible for this promotion, item(s) added into the cart must be valued above $49 (before taxes) at checkout. Customers residing within the contiguous United States that checkout with item(s) valued above $49 qualify for our Free Shipping promotion.

Definition

• Contiguous: sharing a common border; touching. (i.e., "the 48 contiguous states")

Shadow Trailers uses U.S. standard shipping for orders that qualify for our Free Shipping promotion. If you need your order to arrive sooner, please select one of our expedited shipping options at checkout.

Free Shipping Exclusions

• Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Territories and U.S. Minor Outlying Islands are not eligible for our Free Shipping over $49 promotion. Standard carrier rates will apply and will be calculated at checkout.

• International Orders are not eligible for our Free Shipping over $49 promotional offer. Our free shipping offer does not apply to any orders shipping outside of the United States. All international orders are subject to standard international shipping rates, which will be calculated at checkout. International orders may also incur additional fees. (See section ‘International Shipments’)

• Oversized, Heavy Items, and Freight: Certain oversized, heavy items, and freight may be excluded from free shipping offers, regardless of the destination. If an item is excluded, this will be clearly noted on its product page, and you will be able to calculate your shipping cost at checkout. If you are ordering large items at large quantities, Shadow Trailers may choose to ship your items on a palette via freight. One of our customer representatives will contact and coordinate with the customer to discuss this option if it is considered.

Shipping Methods and Delivery Estimates

Multiple shipping options, including expedited and standard services, are available at checkout. All associated charges and estimated delivery times are calculated and shown before purchase at checkout. Delivery estimates begin from the time of shipment, not the order date.

Same-Day Shipping

Same-Day Shipping means your order is processed, packed, and handed off to the shipping carrier on the same day you place the order. The final delivery date depends on the shipping method you select and the carrier's transit time*.

For example, an order shipped on a Monday might be delivered on Tuesday or later, depending on your location and the shipping speed chosen. We currently offer Same-Day Shipping on certain items placed and confirmed before 2:00 P.M. Pacific Standard Time (UTC/GMT-8 hours). (Excl. apply. See subsection ‘Same-Day Shipping Exclusions’)

• Same-Day Shipping means Same-Day dispatch, NOT Same-Day arrival. Same-Day Shipping ensures that the carrier will have possession of the package the same day you place your order and have it confirmed before 2:00 P.M. PST

Order processing

• Most orders placed and confirmed on business days (Monday–Friday) before 2 p.m. PST will be processed and shipped out the same day. Orders placed on a weekend or holiday will be processed the next business day. (Excl. apply)
  

Same-Day Shipping Exclusions

• Orders after 2:00 P.M. PST: Orders that are received and confirmed after 2:00 P.M. PST will be processed the next business day. If you place your order on a weekend or a holiday, your order will be processed the next business day.

• Oversized and Heavy Items: Certain oversized or heavy items may be excluded from same-day shipping offers, regardless of the destination because they require additional handling.

• Manufacturer Drop shipments: Products sourced directly from a manufacturer are excluded because they require additional processing time from a manufacturer. Processing time can vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. (also referred to as direct shipments, drop ship)

• Free Shipping Promotional Offer: If your order qualifies for our Free Shipping offer, your item(s) may also qualify for Same-Day shipping if your order does not fall under subsection ‘Free Shipping Exclusions’. If your order includes item(s) that are Manufacturer Drop Shipments but still qualify for Free Shipping, your order does not qualify for Same-Day Shipping.

Same-day Delivery (Defined)
Same-Day Delivery IS NOT CURRENTLY OFFERED AT SHADOW TRAILERS. Same-Day Delivery guarantees that your order will arrive at your door on the same day you purchased it. This expedited service is typically offered in select, high-density areas and often requires placing the order before a specific cut-off time. Shadow Trailers does NOT currently offer Same-Day Delivery on our products. We currently offer Same-Day Shipping on most items placed before 2:00 P.M. Pacific Standard Time (UTC/GMT-8 hours). (See Section ‘Same-Day Shipping’)

Shipping Restrictions

Restrictions apply to all shipping offers, sections, and subsections outlined in Shadow Trailers Shipping Policy.

We ship to most addresses within the United States, including residential addresses, commercial addresses, P.O. boxes, APO/FPO/DPO addresses. However, we do not deliver to freight forwarders. Due to carrier limitations and the nature of our products, a valid street address is required for all deliveries. If an order is placed with a restricted address, we will contact you to obtain an alternative street address, which may cause a delay in processing.

• P.O. Boxes: Certain items are not eligible to be shipped to P.O. boxes due to carrier limitations and the nature of our products. In this case, one of our sales representatives will contact you and coordinate an alternative shipping address. Private carriers (i.e., FedEx) are legally restricted from accessing the secure, internal area of a post office where P.O. Boxes are located. If your item(s) are ineligible to be delivered to a P.O. box, an alternative shipping carrier must deliver to a valid street address.
  • P.O. Boxes come in several standard sizes, and many packages, especially large or heavy ones, simply will not fit. If a package is too large, the post office places a notice in the box for the customer to pick it up at the counter. If the package is not claimed within a certain time frame (often 10 business days), it may be returned to the sender. For this reason, some products are ineligible to be shipped to P.O. boxes.

• Military Addresses: When shipping to military addresses, which are processed through the
  U.S. Postal Service (USPS), certain restrictions and requirements must be followed. Private carriers like UPS and FedEx cannot deliver directly to Army Post Office (APO), Fleet Post Office (FPO), and Diplomatic Post Office (DPO) addresses. A sales representative from Shadow Trailers will contact you with shipping rates when shipping to Military addresses.

• Carrier restrictions
  • USPS only: All shipments to military addresses must be sent via the U.S. Postal Service. Private carriers can ship to the military postal hubs in the U.S., but the USPS is responsible for final delivery to overseas locations.
  • Domestic rates, international rules: While you pay domestic postage rates for military mail, these packages must still comply with international mail standards and regulations regarding prohibited items.
  • Size and weight limitations: Most packages cannot exceed 70 pounds and must not have a combined length and girth of more than 130 inches. For some DPO addresses,
    smaller size restrictions apply.
  • Please check USPS’s website here for up-to-date information, as it is subject to change.
  
  
• Military Addresses require additional processing and coordination. When you place your order and have it delivered to a Military Address, Shadow Trailers will contact you as soon as we begin processing your order. Orders placed on a weekend or holiday will begin to be processed on the next business day. 

Oversized, Heavy Items, and Freight

Definitions

• Oversized Package: A package with a longest side exceeding 96 inches, or a combined length and girth exceeding 130 inches.

• Heavy Package: A package weighing over 70 pounds.

• Freight: Any item that weighs over 150 pounds or is too large for standard parcel carriers and must be shipped via a freight service. Palettes are shipped via freight.

In-Store Pickup

Many of our products can be picked up on location at our Corporate Office in Cypress, California. This checkout option will be made available beginning 2026, but is currently unavailable at this time.

Shipment confirmation and order tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive an email with tracking information and your order number, which should be active within 24 hours after the order has been processed.

International Shipments

We ship to most countries. Processing and shipping typically take [5]–[15] business days. International orders may face varying shipping costs and delivery times shown at checkout, and potential delays from customs processing. Please account for additional business days for your delivery.

International Duties and Taxes
For all international orders, the customer is responsible for any and all customs, duty fees, taxes, tariffs, and other fees imposed by their country's customs office. These charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost and are the customer's responsibility upon delivery.

Shipment Errors, Damages, Loss, Missing Pieces

Shadow Trailers is not liable for shipping damages or loss.

Orders that arrive damaged, are missing pieces, or if there is an error with your item(s), please:

• Retain all packaging and item(s)

• Save your Order Number

• Contact us within 5 business days of receipt of goods

• Shadow Trailers will file a claim with the shipping carrier

If your order fails to arrive by the expected delivery date or is lost in transit, please contact us and one of our sales representatives will be available to assist you. Please have your order number on hand so that we can better assist you.

Please note that Shadow Trailers operates from Monday—Friday from 8:00a.m.—5:00p.m. Pacific Standard Time, and will only be available to assist you during business hours. We understand how stressful delivery issues may be, and we appreciate your patience.
