Well, here is what happened to our install... First we were changing out the drum brakes on a 2009 Yacht Club Pontoon Trailer with 2 3500 lb axles... First attempt to install revealed that the calipers would hit the frame. After much deliberation, we decided to extend the axles 4 and 1/2" This was accomplished by cutting the axles in half and the using a tube that would fit over the original axles. This worked very well. The rest of the install went fairly well with supplied parts..... Then we tried to mount the tires. A No Go as the caliber rubbed against the rim and locked the wheel. Now in all fairness the kit is for 13" or bigger rims.. The trailer has 12" rims, Duh.... Well, we ground down the outer caliber case and added shims to correct the problem... Here is what you need to know if you have the same trailer with drum brakes... 1. The axles are too short. 2. You have to modify the calibers and add shims to get the tires to fit. 3. The fenders need to be repositioned. I just wished I knew what I was getting into. If I had know ahead of time, I may have made a different decision on these brakes... Overall I like what we have now as the drums brakes are crap.....

Brake kit.
The brakes work very well, the roll of brake line that was sent with the kit was too short and very low quality, too brittle I had to buy better line. The soleniod cover was damaged when sent but you replaced that for me thanks, Fritz was going to send me a "T" shirt size large but it never got here.
