UFP A-60 series replacement inner member slide for hydraulic drum brakes. This complete Inner member slide fits into existing outer member housings. Includes all internal working parts of the A-60 Hydraulic Brake Actuator. All UFP actuator inner member slides and outer housing assemblies are compatible with one another regardless of bolt-on or weld-on configurations.
Complete with: Aluminum Master Cylinder, Shock Absorber, Rollers, Roller Pins, Push-Rod, Latch Assembly and Breakaway Cable.

Features:

For use with hydraulic drum brakes systems
All internal metal working parts are plated for corrosion resistance
Standard with a 7,500 lb GVWR rating. (previously 6000lb. rating)
Accepts a 2 in ball
Standard all Aluminum master cylinder for excellent corrosion resistance
Sealed aluminum master cylinder reservoir inhibits moisture from entering
Rubber push rod boot offers protection against freeze up
Exclusive UFP latching mechanism ensures hitch ball is locked in place
Breakaway cable kit included
The A-60 is very easy to bleed, it can be pressure bled, or you can stroke the master cylinder push rod with a screwdriver

UFP A-60 Inner Slide Member

My boat trailer has this style set up in it when i got it but never worked .. Was all open and rusted up. I removed it and had this identical part number on the slide piece . Did some online searching and found Shadow Trailers to have the absolute lowest price. Ordered it and it arrived in a fairly fast time. Item was perfect fit and was able to have trailer brakes for a 1st time towing this boat and it's a great feeling having brake that work! thanks Shadow Trailers

UFP A-60 Inner Slide

When I pulled my old slide out parts went all over the ground. I thought it was going to be a pain to reassemble a new one, but the parts that fell out were not supposed to fall out. The new slide went in with ease. Works great, easy to bleed the brakes with a screwdriver. Quick shipping. Thanks Shadow

Exactly what was needed

Product came quickly. Unit appears superior to the 15 yr original I was replacing - eg upgraded emergency brake cable. Unfortunately, I spent hours getting the old frozen unit out. It was a relief when the new one easily slipped into place and I finished installation in about 15 minutes. Installation/instruction booklet very complete and informative.

The replacement of the hitch was a breeze. It came with an instructional book that was quite comprehensive and it even covered adjusting the drum brakes. After pumping the piston many many times until fluid started dripping out of the trailer frame, I realized the brake line had a pin hole. I suggest ordering new brake line when replacing the actuator. They are steel and they rust especially as they rub the inside of the trailer frame. It's worth the $30.

UFP A-60

Great inner slide to replace the original UFP A-60 Inner slide. Easy to install, it went right in with ease. Love the new latch assembly, easy to open and close it. The coated breakaway cable is nice, no more poking myself with the old frayed exposed cable. BEST PRICE ON THE MARKET! Make sure to pick up the backup key, because this works really good and if the trailer is in a slight incline while backing up, it will initiate the brakes as it was intended to do. It's only a dollar more on this site.

UFP A-60 Inner was exactly what I needed and worked perfectly. I used wooden dowell rods to hold the bearings in place as I slid the inner into the outer and then drove the wooden pins out as I drove in the metal pins. The female ball hitch part is tight on my ball and hard to release. Keeping my ball greased helps.

100% perfect fit!

If your surge brakes require help, this is the best way to go. Between installing the UFP A-60 Slide Member and new brake shoes w/ new backing plate, wheel cylinders and hardware, I can hardly tell my boat is behind me when stopping the truck. Perfect!!

seamless installation- fit perfectly into original outer member on 22 year old trailer All I had to do was connect brake line, fill with fluid and bleed. Excellent price , and delivery. Great product

Had to rebuild the brakes on my boat trailer. Bought and installed the UFP Inner Slide assembly. It was a plug and play, everything bolted up and the brakes were easy to bleed. They work perfectly. Brakes now stop on a dime. I was able to mostly gravity bleed the system, then finish them up. I'm very happy with the replacement parts.
